About Glasspellets.com

When I was just out of high school, I went to work for a glass tempering company, never having done manual labor for work in my opinion anyways, I did not know what to expect. Long story short I moved up the ranks quickly and learned the art of tempering glass, not to sound like I am bragging or anything but I did manage to do complete some amazing projects, one that I am most proud of is to this day that I know of, I am the only one in the world to have tempered 6 pieces of one inch thick glass sized at two hundred and four inches long by twenty eight inches wide with several holes drilled through it as a way to hang them.

The art of tempering glass is an incredibly unique process involving heating the glass up to twelve hundred degrees for up to several minutes and then cooling the glass very quickly, now when you add holes or any other type of edging to the glass it creates more stress, making it even harder to temper without breaking the glass throughout the tempering process.

Fast forward many years and I ended up owning the domain name GlassPellets.com and at first I was just going to sell it and make a few bucks on it, but then I did a little research on glass pellets or fire pellets and very few companies were offering these direct to the consumer, so I decided to help you understand how glass pellets can and will benefit the environment, but also beautify gas fire places, fire pits and even make a great decoration for glass vases or other outdoor gardening areas.

Glass Pellets are great for the environment because you can continue to recycle glass for the life of it, making it one of the few products that can continually be reused forever. When they burn, they do not immense any smoke, or any other harmful byproducts like so many other decorative rocks, plus the glass really reflects off the flames to make an extremely attractive and beautiful site to see.

We want you to be satisfied with your purchase, so we select what we think are the best products on the market to help you make a quick and easy decision that you will be happy with. Cheers to the many beautiful nights by the fire!

Thank you
Richard
